The 4 Steps to making a website

I want a website what do I need to do?

There are a 4 Steps to making a website. First you need to register a domain name / web address such as www.myawesomename.com You can register a domain name with with me here or check to see if your domain name is available.

What is hosting and why do I need it?

You will also need to buy hosting, its the yearly rental of space on a computer in cyberspace, its where your site will be stored so it can be safely accessed over the internet. I offer competive rates on yearly hosting and offer a $100 discount on your website development costs should you purchase hosting through me. I also have servers based in the UK and Australia.

What will I put on my website?

Next you gather and provide me with content and we plan the shape of your site and it's requirements - do you want video and images on your site? Do you want a shopping cart? Do you want to the ability to add upcoming events? Perhaps you want a newsletter people can sign up to.

4th Step - I design and develop you a site, in close consultation with you, that meets the requirements we have outlined in Step 3.

You have a clear effective presence on the web which you can update and maintain yourself should you choose to.
